Fall VTRN Learning Series: Teachers Supporting Multilingual Learners

This action research project was focused on the work of a bilingual coordinator mentoring a teacher whose goal was to support newcomers in English. The presenter will share her action research findings which include (1) ways to support and coach teachers how to approach learning with newcomer students, and (2) how to develop, modify, and scaffold curriculum to newcomer students with limited or interpreted formal education.
